Over the last few weeks I have had two separate families comment on their child's improvement in just one session.
It got me thinking about what could have possibly happened in just one session? Especially because the first session of the program rarely involves actual handwriting practice!
When I was walking my dog tonight it hit me. Confidence. Could it be that simple?
I believe that it certainly plays a much larger role than I had previously realized when it comes to success.
Henry Ford said, "If you think you can or can't, you're right." Oh, how right he was!
When a child walks in the door, sometimes after several years of struggling, not only do they "think" they can't do well with handwriting they know they can't.
It is amazing how the process of pinpointing the reasons behind their struggles along with creating a targeted plan of action can turn, not only their thinking around, but their belief that they can improve.
What an amazing difference confidence can make!
